I grew up on a farm in the southeast corner of Wyoming. At Michigan State
University, I am majoring in marketing and communications. I am also a
student of American Sign Language. I hope to incorporate the three areas
of study by working in marketing, preferably with a company that has the
deaf community as a major clientele. My main interests include learning
about new people, and places. This interest encouraged me to spend the
2002 summer traveling in Australia and New Zealand. Coming into the Australia
media program, I was excited to see the land, meet the people, and mostly
listen to them talk!
